-.- if ur trying to get a full account instead of a 10-day free trial by hacking into the game data, a few things may happen: 1) u get sued 2) ur account closes down 3) ur blocked from WoW PERMENANTLY 4) ur deleted
it's illegal if that's what ur doing, Micah. Blizzard is being cheated of its rightful money, and that, my friend, is illegal. Oh, btw, u agree to the Terms of Service before u can play, so they can charge u with whatever they think they can charge u with.
I'm not hacking Blizzard! I'm merely changing the IP my game goes to. And I would appreciate not being nagged about something I know perfectly well, thank you very much.
-.- riiiiight... ur cheating Blizzard then by not paying for their services. I've read enough user agreements on videogames to know that it is renting a privilage. When you break the terms of agreement and they find you, ur screwed.
but they have absolutely no way to track me, They've given the ability to make PS out, so they'll only take the time to go after the hosts, not the 600 people who play them.
A) they can't find me individually, because they have no record of me ever registering with them, and I don't give out any information to the host, other than my login info.
B) literally thousands of people do this on a daily basis. They're actually gonna take the time to go after a 14 year old? and go after what? my collection of first-edition classical books?
C) there always have been, and there always will be, someone who is clever enough to get around the rules. Are you aware of the latest game ripper that can cut through any copyright program? Get your hands on one of those and then all you have to do is rent a game, spend 5 minutes swiping it, and you never have to pay for it again.
In conclusion, what I'm doing is completely safe, and one persons 350 dollars a year will make no difference to them, considering, as you yourself stated, they have millions of customers.
Lol. Micah I wouldn't do what your doing your trying to do. Its a franchise that makes quite a lot of money so tricking them isn't the best thing to do.
Is it... illegal?
ReplyDeleteDurh. GL!
ReplyDeleteIllegalness is a state of mind my child
ReplyDeleteWho are we to say what is legal and what therefore is not?
we do! it's called democracy....

ReplyDeleteMy friends, democracy, money, and legal rights is just a state of mind.
It does not matter what eyes you see these ideas out of, whether they be brown or blue or covered with big-ass glasses
OI! my glasses aren't that big!
