PCs are awesome. And Ghaz, of course I've had evil experiences with them. Their the only computers my school District uses. Except they do use Linux for one class at the High School, and they also teach you how to use a Tablet.
no. simply no. I've used both a PC and a Mac with google sketchup7, then ran it through 3Drad to make a video game, and it froze the Mac up. so, manipulations, no.
lay-mens(or womans) terms- I used SketchUp7 to make a 3D model, then transferred it to 3Drad and added a skybox and a controllable character. Mac froze up at this point, while PC kept chugging along gracefully.
Oh, no, I knew what you meant, because my dad talks about this stuff A LOT. He tried to teach my sister about Pi and the Pythagorean theorem in the mall today. And some wavelength thing I didn't understand.
That sounds much more interesting than my trips to the mall. My dad is always nagging my mom that she has bought enough and, "Let's go home now! There is a game on."
And to think I almost asked for a Mac...
ReplyDeleteMacintosh=epic fail
ReplyDeleteThe MacBook Air seemed like a good idea at the time.
ReplyDeleteexcept it would break like a fortune cookie.
ReplyDeleteWhich is why I got an HP Pavillion instead.
ReplyDeletewhich is why I can talk to you.
ReplyDeletePardon me?
ReplyDeleteMacs=pure evil. PCs= all that is good with computers.
ReplyDeleteNice to know. Have you had an evil experience with Macs?
ReplyDeleteMakes me feel grateful I have a PC.
ReplyDeletePCs are awesome. And Ghaz, of course I've had evil experiences with them. Their the only computers my school District uses. Except they do use Linux for one class at the High School, and they also teach you how to use a Tablet.
ReplyDeleteOh. Our school only use PCs. The only problem is they have terrible (super effective) firewalls, and Windows XP.
ReplyDeleteMacs are cool, but they're kind of overrated and old-looking.
ReplyDeleteMy old school used Macs. You couldn't do ANYTHING on them.
I have used Macs a couple of times, although that was at Best Buy and the only thing I could access was iTunes...
ReplyDeleteI would take XP over Leopard any day. However I've been looking into Linux lately...
ReplyDeleteLinux is good.
ReplyDeletehave you used it before?
ReplyDeleteLinux is free.
ReplyDeleteWhich is why it is good.
ReplyDeleteWhat are you guys talking about? Macs rock!
ReplyDeleteWhich was my point.
ReplyDeleteThe only thing Macs are good for is photo distortion :D
Macs are truly horrible.
ReplyDeleteMacs are more theoretical and PCs are more hands on. From what I have experienced.
ReplyDeleteBut the thing is, Macs are for designing and manipulations - get a PC for your homework and a Mac for your hobbies...
ReplyDeleteno. simply no. I've used both a PC and a Mac with google sketchup7, then ran it through 3Drad to make a video game, and it froze the Mac up. so, manipulations, no.
ReplyDeleteThis is too technological-even for me!
ReplyDeletelay-mens(or womans) terms- I used SketchUp7 to make a 3D model, then transferred it to 3Drad and added a skybox and a controllable character. Mac froze up at this point, while PC kept chugging along gracefully.
ReplyDeleteThe little PC that could...
ReplyDelete"I think I can, I think I can..."
ReplyDeleteMac" I think I can, I think I ca-*spinning wheel of death*"
ReplyDeleteOh, no, I knew what you meant, because my dad talks about this stuff A LOT.
ReplyDeleteHe tried to teach my sister about Pi and the Pythagorean theorem in the mall today.
And some wavelength thing I didn't understand.
In the MALL?
ReplyDeleteIn the FOOD COURT!
ReplyDeleteOh wow. She must have loved that.
ReplyDeleteYou know?
ReplyDeleteWhat was her reaction?
ReplyDelete"Oh my GOSH, Dad, I don't CARE!!!"
ReplyDeleteor something like that.
Typical Miranda.
ReplyDeleteTypical everyone.
ReplyDeleteWhat would YOU do if your dad was writing formulas on a napkin?
"Dad! I don't care about that right now! Can you hand me the ketchup?"
ReplyDeleteLOL.
ReplyDeleteWell, we kind of zoned out and he was still talking.
And drawing airplanes.
That sounds much more interesting than my trips to the mall. My dad is always nagging my mom that she has bought enough and, "Let's go home now! There is a game on."
