On the way to School~ I'm the only 8th grader on my bus. Let me paint a picture. a 6'+ guy, crammed onto a school bus. Surrounded by screaming 6th graders. I swear, if I didn't have my iPod, I would have gone insane a very long time ago....
Advisory~ boredom again....
L.A.~ I forgot my book, Outsiders, and got into trouble for it. On the bright side, I aced a test on the chapters we have read so far. Life is funny that way sometimes...
Gym~ can I "whoop-whoop" for the new semester? all my best buds are in my new gym class, and I pwned at Badminton....
Spanish~Uf! no me gusta Espanol. es muy malo y difficil. all we did is watch a movie that had nothing to do with the curriculum. silly teachers, that's stupid.
Science~ Sam H. and I finished our worksheets about 4 times faster than everyone else. He's one of the only people I can work with who actually increase my workspeed, rather than just slowing me down.
Art~ stupid, annoying, and frustrating. I spaced and forgot my coloured pencils, and got a bad grade. On the up side, I scored IZZE drink for an assignment we had to do.
Math~ I have to go to lunch detention with my annoying teacher tommorow. oh the joy....
History~We did some weird family project, where I had to sacrifice my life, move to a town 20 miles away from the rest of my family, and work at another hospital. Wheeee...
However, I'm home, I have my dog with me, I'm listening to my favourite music, and Life is sweet...
OMG! You are in the 8th Grade?!?!
ReplyDeleteFor an 8th grader, you seem smart(no offense, because I am one as well).
ReplyDeleteI am an eighth grader as well, and you do sound smart.
ReplyDeleteA thank you. I am one of the smarter people in my grade, but I prefer to not be in the limelight XD *toots own horn*
ReplyDeleteSee, I brought my awesome and smart friends - i think i deserve a hug :D
ReplyDelete*shudders, hesitantly begins to reach out, then pulls back* nope, sorry. can't do it.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the compliment, though this friend seems to be having a hard time starting her art project... It is funny, I love Leonardo Da Vinci and all, but I can't seem to write about him. It just seems a little disrespectful to have to list his achievements when he was one of the best people in Renaissance Italy, and centuries following. Do I really need to repeat what he did? Is it not embedded in our minds?
ReplyDelete**I am sorry for the psychological outburst, I just needed to get that out, and what better place to do it than the blog of another smart person?
so true. Good ol' Leo was, in my opinion, tied for first with Shakespeare. ( I do realize there's about a twenty year gap between their lifetimes, but still)
ReplyDeleteIt is nice to see there is someone else out there who understands. Shakespeare and Da Vinci were artists in the truest sense, it is no less of criminal to be forced to list their achievements for something which is simply to going to be graded, and tossed back to us.
ReplyDeleteGhazal! This is my friend that I found - you darn thieves, first Derek, now AT-AT. :D JK! But be warned, Derek will be mine!
ReplyDeleteI was simply talking art with him, nothing personal. Wait a minute, 20.5 people?!? That must be a new record Bre! Let me find the number for the Guinness Book of World Records. Which category does this go in? Poor Derek...
ReplyDeleteLOL! Don't be spreading my business Mrs. (wait - there's no one to bother you with) :( Spoil-sport
ReplyDeleteAnyway, he is afraid to hug you, leave the poor guy alone.
ReplyDeleteactually, I can't really hug anybody :x Well, could, but it would be incredibly uncomfortable for me. I have personal space issues.
ReplyDeleteI feel the same way. Though, many guys at our school do not. Hey, they guy on your profile picture, who is it?
ReplyDeleteDr. Who, played by David Tennant (see AT-AT I'm learning!)
ReplyDeleteAre you trying to impress him Bre?
ReplyDelete*gives Ghazal the "Dev" look*
ReplyDeleteAlright, sorry, I just wanted to save this stranger from a future of betrayal.
ReplyDeletesorry "Dev" look?
ReplyDeleteGhazal can explain...
ReplyDeleteThe "Dev" look basically involves the raising of eyebrows, the squinting of eyes, and a scowl. Am I forgetting anything?
ReplyDeleteO and - hands on the hips! Don't forget that.
ReplyDeleteHow could I forget? It also involves hands on her hips.
ReplyDeleteThere IS someone to bother Ghazal with!
ReplyDeleteTeehee I'm kind of slow on the commenting now that it's not just me and Ghazal...
I know who you are talking about.
ReplyDeleteI know you know, that's the point!
ReplyDelete**Shakes her head disapprovingly**
ReplyDelete-nods head approvingly-
ReplyDeleteYou know it's tru-ue!
NO. IT. IS. NOT!
ReplyDeleteMeh.
ReplyDeleteFine. You win.
For now.
-muahahahaha-
Okay?
